Is the VBulletin site down???

Posted by MattSTX, 06-26-2006, 10:04 PM
I havent been able to access it for a couple hours...can anyone else get to it? www.vbulletin.org

Yes. vBulletin.com and vBulletin.org are both down.

Both the .com and .org are hosted on the same server. The Jelsoft team are working with The Planet to fix the hard drive issue. There was a notice posted a few hours ago saying they were only up temporarily, I would imagine it should be fixed very shortly. Hey Everyone, I've been trying to access the http://www.vbulletin.com website for two days now. Is anyone else having problems? All of my friends can't get to it either. Does anyone know the reason for this? A server upgrade perhaps? Thanks in advance. Matthew M

Just when you need to buy a licence as well - hope they get it up soon, must be costing $$ in downtime.

So strange to see a big community down so long and more when they are at The Planet. Still down, yep.

Well, it's a hardware problem and from my experience at TP, they are terrible with that. No surprise there.... hope they get up soon, it's a great community.

Just to update you all when you go to vbulletin.com you get this message: Sorry, vBulletin.com is currently unavailable. We apologize for the continued inaccesability of vBulletin.com, vBulletin.org and other vBulletin-related sites. This is due to a hardware problem with one of our servers. We are working with our host to rectify the situation and bring the sites back online as soon as possible. Least we know the problem now

Word has it that they've lost all customer data and some information from vb.org and are trying to recover it.

Great, just when I need to download VB and get a license. I hope it is back online and functional tonight, but I really doubt that. Last edited by MattSTX; 06-27-2006 at 03:53 PM.

Everything should be back to normal I think. They have changed the IPs or something along those lines.

Thank goodness I just downloaded my zip for my new license a day and a half ago. Just checked, looks like they are back to normal as Tyler said.

Please cite your sources, this sounds more like something you have invented in order to receive attention.
