4U Supermicro 36 Bay Storage

Posted by Slokyness, 11-11-2016, 06:11 AM I have this server at home trying to configure it the correct way for my needs. I'm having a bit of trouble what exactly do I need to do to the server to have each bay of hdd on its own vps. Each of the hdd's have different types of things stored on them that I need to access all differently. I have one connection to my pc and another connection to my roommates pc for his storage. Half is for me and half is for him but I cannot find out how to navigate to each storage device separate. For instance if I was to take drive one out I want to still be able to access drive 2 with a different IP something like different VPS's for each drive. It sounds confusing as I'm a bit confused in myself also but if you understand what I'm asking please help.
