I'm looking for a server - no server available ukhost

Posted by Lanfr, 11-08-2016, 08:27 AM
Hi, I have several servers on EUKHost and for more than a month that I'm trying to buy a server from them, but it is not available, all their servers are unavailable. I'm worried because I can not figure out if this company is in crisis and I have to move my server at another provider. However given that they sell servers that do not, I'm looking for a server that has these characteristics: E3-1270 V5 Quad Core (Lin.) RAM : 32 GB DDR4 RAM Hard Disk : 2 x 1 TB Performance SSD RAID : RAID 1 ( needs 2 drives ) Control Panel : cPanel/WHM

Your requirements is not that special to consider. Did they say the reason for unavailable server?

No, no reason, just write that are not available. The server is this: https://www.eukhost.com/dedicated-servers/ eUK E3 Enterprise SSD They have only Intel Xeon E5-2630v4, but I do not want to spend all that money.

Sometimes web hosts don't the server configuration you need on stock. You'd always go and ask how long would it take to setup the server?

Your configuration is fairly common, so I'd ask EUKhost how long before that server is back in stock. A month seems excessive to out of stock on a server that you advertise on your site. At what point do you get the out of stock notification in the checkout process?

Is there a specific budget you have? Does the server need to be managed? Did you call your current provider already to double check if it's in stock or not?

Does the server have to be located in the UK? If yes is there a specific area in the UK you wanted to be within such as London or Maidenhead? UKServers may have something close to what you are looking for, give them a ring or email.

Why haven't you just contacted their sales and ask this? You are definitely going to get a more informed answer from them than here at a forum.

Yesterday: Contact the sales department EUKHost and write me That the server is not available, then I go to the site and create the order, I pay the invoice, I open a ticket for custom disk partitions, technical Their answers would That I did this . Their technical writes That the server will be available in 5 days. Today, I receive the data access server, but how? sales department had written that was not available on the server, the other technician had written that I had to wait five days. maybe they not communicate with each other, perhaps they are incompetent. However partitions are all unpacked, (That I hoped they had done everything right) then write to them, the partitions are not correct you have to reinstall the server, Their technical writing, you have to open another ticket, this ticket is not good. Because I have to open another ticket? Are you kidding me ??? I sincerely EUKHost do not understand them, are Their client for 4 years, I had big problems with Their R1Soft, never worked, I finally bought by r1softlicense and have had no problems, but otherwise Their support was good enough. These do not communicate with each other, the billing department does not know what he wrote and sales support, make a big mess by putting the customer in panic. In the last year have had a significant worsening, the sales department It is Unable to sell, support is perhaps the only one who is saved if the problems are small, if they are big problems you need to wait days. Hetzner will be my next provider, soon I will move all my servers, EUKHost strongly advise against. Last edited by Lanfr; 11-10-2016 at 03:36 PM.
