Hello all , i hope you are doing fine , i have a server with private layer for almost one year and everything was very good with them , until two days ago my server went offline , i contacted the support and waited for 12 hours to get this ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We can find no hardware problem and no network problem. You have made a fatal configuration error on your server. Would you like for us to reinstall the OS? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i reaply back with ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- what fetal are you talking about i cant reinstall the server i have data on it just give me the ipmi i will fix it ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- after that i got the ipmi and logged in the server and i found it working just fine ! the problem is on the network its offline , i tought maybe the settings are incorrect and then when i cheeked i found them correct so i answered back and its been 15 hours with no replay i'm really pissed off

Unfortunately, seems Privatelayer is having issues of late with networking. http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1606924 @haphostliing in there mentions the final fix for them was routing / vlan related. That does not help you on your side, but perhaps bumping the ticket with that in mind might.

15 hours is one heck of a long time to be waiting for a response on an issue of this sort. I do see this phone number on their WHOIS - +41445087052

15 hours is a long time to wait for a support response. Maybe they are not providing 24/7 support.

Are you sure network is setup while in rescue mode? Also, why is it in rescue mode if the server it self is okay like you mentioned ?

yes i'm sure i puted the server in rescue mode to see if the network is working on it
