Looking for DIY KVM VPS in Australia
Posted by MichaelNZ, 09-01-2016, 07:57 PM |
I'm looking for something ideally like Vultr who have a nice CP, everything just works and I can upload my own choice of O/S and manage it all myself. Must be KVM or other fully independent container hypervisor.
I have a AU VPS with Vultr and want a 2nd one with another provider for diversity.

They're aren't many providers in Australia that have control panel's like Vultr.
I run KVM VPS's in Australia using Virtkick, but the problem with Australian VPS servers is the high cost of bandwidth.

Traffic isn't a major issue. All my VPSes are used for commercial stuff. No files, no trouble type stuff.

What I'm referring too is bandwidth costs. We have almost 150 clients in our Australian Network and bandwidth isn't an issue, it's just the costing of bandwidth.
United States: $10/tb
Australia: $80/tb

I agree that their control panel is user friendly.
Perhaps check the WHT AU forums and post on Whirlpool, as well?
