You will have to give it some time before they respond to your ticket, their support is not that great when it comes to fast response times.

In the VPS panel on OVH it shows your actual server ip.. so what is there shown? What you mean is not your ip?

Posted by hichkas, 08-31-2016, 07:47 AM
thats right its not my ip

Posted by Magic_JohnSon, 08-31-2016, 07:51 AM
can you post a proof screen?

Posted by AcheronMedia-VK, 08-31-2016, 08:07 AM
DNS issue? Can you verify the domain resolves to correct IP? When you kvm into the server, can you ping out? Can you ping the IP directly (see it in the OVH panel, as mentioned above).

ts says he not recognizes the ip in his VPS panel lets await for the screenshot

Posted by hichkas, 08-31-2016, 08:13 AM
hello inside kvm when i logging to the centos i could not ping to the 8.8.8.8 @ Magic johnson https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2016/08/31/wht.jpg

The OP never mentioned a panel, just output of `ping` (and I'm betting the domain was pinged)

Posted by AcheronMedia-VK, 08-31-2016, 08:15 AM
src is 192.168.1.111... that's not routable IP. What is your public IP? What it should be (check your OVH control panel), and what does ifconfig show?

Posted by Magic_JohnSon, 08-31-2016, 08:15 AM
when i say panel his OVH panel

Posted by AcheronMedia-VK, 08-31-2016, 08:18 AM
Yes. Which the OP never mentioned was showing wrong IP.

Posted by hichkas, 08-31-2016, 08:21 AM
my ip is 164.132.x.x same on ovh panel but when i pinged to my ip i see something look like this network configuration on ifconfig its correct. 92 bytes from 51.255.188.137: Destination Host Unreachable Vr HL TOS Len ID Flg off TTL Pro cks Src Dst 4 5 00 5400 ca4e 0 0000 33 01 bd5b 192.168.1.111 164.132.x.x i dont know why when i ping to my ip 164.132.x show this result .... i have no idea what is 51.255.188.137.

Posted by AcheronMedia-VK, 08-31-2016, 08:24 AM
Maybe a router in OVH network? The message you see is that that IP responded with ICMP packet carrying "destination host unreachable" message. There is still that 192.168.1.111 as src, where are you pinging from? That's not right... EDIT: Are you using vRack interfaces or containers, pinging from one of them?

i was pinged from my macbook lets try other way i have also dedicated server from OVH on SAME datacenter. i have ping from SSH OVH dedicated server TO VPS OVH and this is result: 51.255.188.137 its not my ip it seems its block our request or network issue on ovh

Posted by AcheronMedia-VK, 08-31-2016, 08:31 AM
Ah... your MAC's LAN IP... Okay, I'm just not used to that kind of output. So anyway, that's probably an OVH router and that router is telling you it cannot forward packets to the destination. Indeed something broken. Do you have IPv6 configured? Can you ping6 to that?

for make sure 100% its not issue from my vps i have put vps on rescue mode 5 minute ago its hanged on 55% ! [ its seem there is problem from ovh ] before its booted less than 5 mimute on rescue mode vps should be able access to the internet with MY IP.

If there is no issue with them, they will not help you. You are on your own.

hello problem its fixed by OVH after 8-9 hr downtime... i was told its was from ovh..

Posted by HostXNow_Chris, 08-31-2016, 03:17 PM
Strangely enough, the same issue happened with one of our VPSs today, which I guess was caused their end. Whatever happened it caused a failover IP to stop working. After the VPS was rebooted and I restarted the failover IP it corrected the problem.

Could have easily fixed it yourself, though, if you had experience with troubleshooting on Linux with.
