What do you need to transfer is it just a web server, or a game server, etc?

Imagine if I wrote, "Travel from here to there?" and expected an answer.
Please describe in detail what you want to do. The more details, the better. Migrate what kind of data? What does it do or how is it used? What operating system(s)? Describe the virtual system. Describe the physical system. What will the final results look like? What do you expect the new system to do?

You can also use RSYNC. They are both servers, doesnt matter if its virtual or physical.

If you just want to transfer data RSync would be my choice.
If this is a web server I would take full account backups or use server account transfer.
You really need to provide more information on what your trying to achieve.

Hi,
If you have any control panels in those servers, you can use the transfer tools which come with the control panels to transfer the files.
Otherwise you have to use any FTP service or rsync method to move the files from one server to another.

You can use rsync
or export/import backup if you using the same control panel

A little more information would be helpful. You mean you want to transfer sites hosted on the server ?

Chris, can you please give some more details about your server, is it running with any control panel or just a plan server which run apache service.
