What kind of cluster ? A load balanced solution to spread load over multiple servers ? Email cluster ? Mysql cluster ? cPanel DNS cluster ? There are many many ways of doing a "cluster" what exactly did you have in mind ?

You might want to look into block-level storage replication with DRBD. If you purchase multiple VPS nodes or dedicated servers you could probably have the provider set it up for you -- that is, if your VPS's/dedi's are managed.

You might want to look over the server management companies list - http://www.webhostingtalk.com/wiki/C...ver_management .

i don't know about technical such that, but i just thinking how to make it 100% uptime without SLA. when main server down, second server will alive. and when main server wake up, second server will store data. and i'm thinking about software, if i use cpanel, whether i must have 2 license cpanel? so i will buy more than 1 license? i need someone who already use them, and give review about how they do it "cluster server"

If you want 100% hardware availability there are some providers out there who already offer this by default on cloud VPS's -- you could also get the same functionality with dedicated servers and your own private network, but the latter option will cost considerably more. If you need 100% service availability then you would need multiple nodes (whether physical or virtual) running in some type of mirroring configuration like I mentioned above -- this means that one server, or VPS, will be a carbon-copy of the other, and if the one goes down for an update or what-have-you, the other one will take over. If you choose a managed service provider they might be willing to set this up for you; be sure to ask sales at whatever ISP you choose before purchasing.

Look into Windows Network Load Balancing. It is free of charge - this would be good for a web server for example. Look into Windows Clustering - for the MS SQL servers. Windows Clustering is free and you can create a high availability active/passive (or other options) failover cluster. You need a minimum of Windows Server Enterprise and MS SQL Standard to create a 2 node cluster. SQL Server Enterprise allows for more nodes.

What are you trying to cluster? Cpanel? Mysql? Web? Or do you need a real full blown multi-web multi-db setup?

Hello You can check Cartika - they specialize in such setups. Especially, H-Sphere control panel supports load balancing and clustering.

we already talking about it with servint, and they says not offer to serve Cluster server. and we also already talking about it with Liquidweb, but their datacenter is not in different place. so cause it me to trying finding management company who can setup it for me, of course if you have another managed hosting company with multiple datacenter, i will be glad to know, and contact their sales. the planet say can do it, setup and manage it, but i need more reference. i have interest with windows too, since windows have more ability, and useful for who need much programmer language, but i need cPanel. of course overall cluster, include DB and Web, i really wanna make our client satisfied, to make us can say Good Bye Downtime and Good Bye SLA. i need cPanel as Control Panel, and i wanna know, whether we need more than 1 license cPanel for it?. i will tried to talk with their sales.

Disclosure, If you need cPanel clustering, check out DedicatedNOW. They specialize in this sort of thing. I don't personally have one but I have several dedicated servers from them as well as a lot of colocation. It's a great facility with excellent staff and support. Here is the link to their cPanel cluster offering: https://www.dedicatednow.com/cPanel-...ty-servers.htm -Ross

We do have several datacenter locations where we can put a geo-loadbalanced cluster like you are asking for.
