Becoming a web host/ supplier

| Hi
I have disicovered some issues with clients websites and services, people sign up with this domain name, then a different host as they did it at different times, forgot who they signed up with etc etc,
I want a system for clients to host their sites (and and I plan for a sport site pre set up for clubs) and I may allow non clients to sign up if all gos well,
I will focus on cpanel/whm/ and fanatsico products. I dont really want to offer other services, ie I would assume that fantasico scripts will work well with cpanel, with major techenicall issues as I wouls assume they test them out extensively, and also keep scripts upto date. Concentrate on open source mysql/php web sites.
Not sure If should go
reseller,
VPS
or anything else that people can recommend.
I would hopefully 100 sites,
I dont really want to get involved in technical support, (would there be a vps service that would do this? ), ie auto payments and install for non web clients. Clients I could sign up and sort all there stuff (as this is hard for people who dont know what they are doing) and you end up doing it - so you might as well be paid for it in terms of hosting. if I set up a clients site through WHM - could the many be handled automatically later at renewal?
And the accounts are automticaly handled, ie payments, reminders
Would like to handle domains and hosting,
I also would like to be able for people to auto-install a pre-loaded joomla site, (how can do this other than fanatisco?, but perhaps another post)
Recommended hosts, I was looking resellerspanel,
Or would phpcoin something that would work?
Would prefer my own domain name,

I would like to set up a site/business to sell hosting plans and domains..
essentially for clients and potential clients (web customers)
and also open anyone who needs hosting -
I would possibly like the option of setting the costs,
But I have a plan to target a group of people ie as example artists
I will set up a template and plan that suits them, so I have control over the biz from start to end...

| what you need seems to be a cpanel/whm resellership with whcms and a website in front. most stuff can be automated. you can automate paypal and 2checkout payments easily. along with other payments.
support depends on your clientele. there may be little request for support, there may be a lot.
