Please share experience with NaviSite

| Hi,
We are evaluating a reliable managed hosting company and our research is down to two hosts: RackSapce and Navisite. We are kind of considering NaviSite for their presence in India and wanted your opinion about them.
Is there any positive/negative feedback about NaviSite that we should know at this point?
We would highly appreciate all the opinions.

| Their only presence in India is an office, most likely for tech support, as they don't have a datacenter there.
Perhaps you would like to specify what sort of application you plan on running, as it may help people make a better recommendation for you.

| Are you looking for Managed hosting for your Indian clients? If so, a provider in India would make more sense like Net Magic Solutions who are also a Managed hosting provider.

| cristibighea - We have a ASP.NET/MSSQL server portal, multiple processes and we are expecting 1 Lac monthly unique visits.
@antony_m - I did try getting in touch with Netmagic without any luck. They seem too busy to take new customers so I thought the same would reflect in their support.
If you have any other recommendation it would be very helpful.

| Did you try calling or emailing them?
I got a hold of Sandeep when I called earlier today. On a side note have you thought of colocating your equipment in a Managed datacenter as supposed to renting a dedicated server? This could potentially reduce your operating prices if done right and you would get the same level of service (i.e. hardware replacements etc).
