touchsupport service - BAD, VERY BAD

been with touchsupport since one year now and have been very unhappy right from the start and i dont know why i continued to pay them to manage my server which they never did. 1st. the server load was/is very high and they asked me to upgrade my RAM and i did but it never helped. 2nd. spam attack continued from my server in/out 3rd. phishing attacks continued and when i asked them why it happened and they didn't cought it in their security audit which they claim they do every week... here is the reply: =================================== These files were just uploaded a few days ago. The dumps directory had permissions 777 which are insecure and allow global execute access. I have removed these files and chmod'd the dumps directory to 755. =================================== 4. everytime the server is down i have to contact them about it and they say that i dono how our monitoring didn't noticed it. so i've decided to find another company with the same price range and hire them to manage/secure the server monthly. i would appreciate if u can suggest some, i'm thinking about webbycart... have u tried them?

I would go with a quality provider like www.totalserversolutions.com they have a great staff and a few of their senior management are pretty active on these forums. I doubt you'll be able to find anyone that can say anything negative about them.

TSS is costy, my budget is around 40$ for administration... Well then your likely to get more of the same then. Never know you might get lucky.

TSS is costy, my budget is around 40$ for administration... You are going to get what you pay for, email TSS, they aren't THAT expensive. If quality support and response times isn't worth a few extra bucks, then stick with one of the 24-48hr response times $30-40/month guys.

Try out We3Cares. They seems to be able to get things done pretty well according to their feedbacks/reviews.
