Bad Experience with StormVZ - WARNING

To all on WHT, if you are looking for an honest company to host with,then AVOID StormVZ,as their "policies" are written for their advantage. I purchased a reseller package which was made to beat the one I have at the moment for my business, at the cost of $4. I have decided to stay with my present hosters and cancelled and requested a refund. Their director, Patrick Hayward refused my money back as refunds are gives at the "companies discretion", which is another way of saying you will never be given one! so if you change your mind, you lose your money, even if its after just a few hours! They will post back and say that it was a special package created for me! Big deal! It takes a minute or two to create a whm/cpanel package. So this is nothing but an excuse to keep my money. Its not the $4, but the principle that they can doas they please with others money!
AS I HAVE SAID, IF YOU WANT GOOD, HONEST WEB HOSTING, THEN THESE GUYS ARE NOT THE ONES!

Please do not click "I have read and agree to the Terms of Service" next time.

The terms have been here ever since we launched publicly and remain for all customers.
You requested cancellation and the billing cron completed your request, there is nothing more to add to it.

As NONE of your "terms" were violated, there is no reason to refuse my money back, except for the fact that you have ripped me off! I do hope that the others on WHT who are looking to get a new host will aviod any host that has its "policies" that are against honesty!

Please do read it properly, it's outlined quite clearly.
As to refunds, we have given several whom thought we provided Windows VPS instead of Linux etc. We are pretty easy on refunds and we follow the terms set by us as it'll be unfair if we denied others on the same grounds.
There is nothing more to add here, we follow our company policy and stand by the decision.

AS I HAVE SAID, "POLICIES" TO CHEAT PEOPLE OF THEIR MONEY! IT WAS YOU WHO INVITED ME TO LEAVE MY OTHER HOSTING COMPANY AFTER I SAID THAT I WAS NOT TOO SURE ABOUT VPS HOSTING. I DID NOT COME TO YOU AND ASK YOU TO PROVIDE ME WITH A CUSTOM PACKAGE. I STILL HAVE THE EMAILS FOR THIS.

What was wrong with StormVZ's system that you needed them to cancel your service any way?

You could have said no thanks.
I also wonder, he had issues creating packages in WHM but we resolved that within minutes and that was it. We heard nothing except a cancellation request over night followed by the cron to cancel the account. Also he said latency of our cPanel server was excellent "64ms" from Chicago to UK.

Why all this fuss for $4? I don't get that...
Their ToS is very clear: sales are final. If you just wanted to test things out you should either tell them beforehand that you need a trial account or go with a provider who offers money back guarantee.

FIRSTLY, WHETHER I USE CAPS OR LOWER CASE, WHATS THE FUSS? SECONDLY, TO YOU $4 MAY NOT BE A BIG NUMBER, BUT TO ME IT IS.
I WAS ORIGINALY CHATTING ONLINE WITH THEIR DIRECTOR ABOUT THEIR VPS PACKAGES. I THEN TOLD THAT SINCE I WAS WITH ANOTHER HOST PROVIDER ON A RESELLER CPANEL PACKAGE, AND WAS LOOKING TO MOVE TO HIM WITH A KLOXO VPS. AS THERE WOULD BE PROBELMS WITH DATA TRANSFER FROM A SHARED CPANEL ACCOUNT TO KLOXO, THAT I HAD MY DOUBTS. ITS THEN WHEN I WAS ASKED WHAT I WAS PAYING MY PRESENT WEB HOSTERS, K-DISK, AND WAS THEN TOLD THAT HE HAD HEARD BAD THINGS ABOUT K-DISK ON WHT, A STRONG SUGESTION THAT I SHOULD MOVE TO STORMVZ. I SAID THAT I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH K-DISK, BUT WOULD BE INTERESTED IF HE COULD GIVE ME A BETTER DEAL, WHICH HE DID. I CHANGED MY MIND OVER NIGHT AS I WAS SOMEWHAT CONCERNED BY THE FACT THAT STORMVZ HAS ONLY BEEN AROUND FOR 3 MONTHS, WHICH I WAS TOLD, AND K-DISK HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS. IN HOSTING ITS USUALLY THE NEWBIES THAT GO FIRST.

Nothing that I could see in a few hours,but wanted to stay with K-Disk who have been around for a few years now,and StormVZ only for 3 months! Just a change of mind, which I am sure we all do on a daily basis!

I would be interested in what the others on WHT think of StormVZ's company director,Patrick Hayward say to me when I to me when I told him that my present hosting company was K-disk, that he had seen some bad things about them on WHT? Is this even ethical?

I will admit that was not ethical on my side as I don't like hitting on companies but something that just came out without thinking over live chat also since they primarily provide shared / reseller hosting. It was based of quick read on:

Which if I read latter on has been resolved or confusion was made on either ends.

Not switching topic, but simply pointing out the facts of some businesses that are not ethical, and therefore a question remains of their honesty in all matters! In your case,it is clear that you seriously lack good ethics, which are also seen in the way your company terms are worded!

The terms are worded in clear basic english terminology, it's not our fault someone cannot read them. If you did attempt to read the terms prior to ticking the box you were always welcome to question our terms.

It may only be 6 bucks, but I guess they let this type of thing go on and on and after 4-6 bucks from everyone.., they make a mint.

If you search XYZ fraud I bet you will get 100 of listings in Google. Although its nice to see real people posting their experiences here.

Yes indeed. Search on this forum for my experience.
They closed their eyes and let fraud (identity thief) occur so they could take me for 6 bucks.

First you must read company TOS before order hosting,
Stromvz didn't have money back guaranted so for this case it isn't their fault

EZPZ has a plan that has 40GB of disk space for just under $30 per month. Do a search for reviews on them around here and I think you'll be pleased with what you find.
I have also used them personally in the past and had a great experience. They have one of the most comprehensive reseller programs out there.

That why TOS very important for clients.. read carefully before agree with TOS.. this is my suggestion for all WHT member
