Stupid ZFHost

Posted by qwee, 05-31-2006, 08:06 PM
I ordered a hosting at this ZFHost and get no hosting info. When I threaten to cancel, they email me the login username and password, saying that they have sent me the info previously. When I ask them about the hosting info especially DNS, there is no response. Subsequate emails to them just disappear into thin air. Don't buy from this host.

qwee, seems weird that a hosting company isn't interested in giving you their DNS or username and password. They seems to offer 24/7 support via MSN, have you tried to contact them there?

Quite true. Usually, any hosting company will greet me with a warm welcome and information. Then for some, the service starts to get worse after a couple of months. For this ZFHost, I need to surf to their "contact us" page and drop them an email before they reply. I only email them through my yahoo email after I signed up. Then they never reply to these emails. Even the email that I threatened to cancel is also done through their "contact us"page. Never try the MSN when I can't get them through email. The worst hosting company that I have ever seen.

I paid for one month and until today (one and half month later), no billing was asked and my account is still accessible.

Just because your first few contacts haven't been successful doesn't mean you should give up... Give them a second chance

Just give it some time, that's a little bit unfair dude.

just a thought.. could be the dirty spam thingy and you dont receive their emails or inverse? worth a try on MSN as they seem to have. also after you get it sorted out, check the email situation, it can happen to the best.

If he paid for a service they should respond to his emails. Thats what makes a good hosting service after all they took his money so were is the tech support.

Give them 12 hours for a reply and if they don't reply, get your money back and go look for another Web host

Have you checked your Bulk folder there? Yahoo could be sorting it as Spam or Bulk.
