Web Application Firewall - WAF - Options

ok these days industry get lot of hack issues . Lets be real here. We can put all the security we can, patches etc etc but application like WP etc will always get hack as its not our but client responsibility. We had some success when we put them behind Incapsula in the front. I have tried looking into deploying own waf but its not possible to deploy for multiple servers. The provider i have reserach for waf are costing around 30-40k a year with limits on bandwidth or number of domains / servers I am wondering what other options we can have under $15k/year option. Reporting is a MUST which we need. Any advice on this ?

Hi, Not sure about the pricing, but you can contact their free trial to check the product. However, ModSecurity also does a fairly good job in this section too. Have you tried this? Just wanted to ask.

Plenty of choices, paid and free. * SophosUTM * IPFire * Webmin (running as a firewall and some other services) * snort etc etc It almost looks like you're wanting more of a IDS or IPS based on the description.
