proftpd - Hide hidden folders and files

| Is there anyway to hide hidden files and folders while using proftpd server?
For some reason it list all files and folders starting with "."

| Yes, you can hide those files. Use the option IgnoreHidden & restart the proftpd service. Have a check at http://www.proftpd.org/docs/directiv...oreHidden.html once.

| I tried that but it's not working for me.
I put below in the proftpd config:
So any files under home directory or sub directory wouldn't be shown to user which has extension of .sh. But for some reason I can still see it.

| Why do you have the '^'.
Try without it:
I am assuming you want to hide .sh files
