What are my alternatives to monitor both Linux and Windows machines, with good statistics and reports, possibly notifications, and doesn't cost a ton of money to monitor 10 servers?

Zabbix perhaps? What are you monitoring? Server uptime or application performance? It's a different approach. Zabbix has plugins for almost everything though.
