reseller suggestion again

Posted by Hellas, 04-06-2008, 05:10 AM
I want to first say hello to all. Tthis is great community, i learned much for just lurking here... Here is the case, i already have small reseller @monoblue.org for maybe 3 years now my needs are now higher but not enough for dedicated. i am satisfied with it, but i thought its smart to get another reseller from another host, so if one goes down others are still here... my needs are next up to 3 gb spaces 50 gb of bandwith cpanel whm php 5 ftp awstats allowed at least 30 accounts 3 mysql databases per account unlimited subdomains great uptime and low proc load quick support but if everything works probably i would not need it budget up to 14 USD /m it is important that i can easily upgrade to next hosting plan- my web pages will be mostly for small bussines, plain html+css but some sites will use joomla, snews... it would be maybe 2-3 pages with using 10+ gb bandwith (forums, communities) and other up to 2 gb bandwith... i watched many topics and cant decide from next hosts some are little more expensive but i will manage that also be free to propose another: 1. BlueWho 1. Uberhost 1. Geekstorage 1. Fly High 1. Innohosting 1. Zoneserv 1. Downtownhost is there any european host to match in this category? p.s. do not suggest hostings like host gator and similar who offer unbolivable ammounts of space for nothing Last edited by Hellas; 04-06-2008 at 05:16 AM.

We tryed many reseller hostings since 2000. We moved to Hostdime and after Surpasshosting(member of hostdime family) at last. Their services are very good and the costs unexpensive. I recommend them.

Innohostng & Blue Who have a good reputation, my dealings with both have been very good. Last edited by Brian-de-vie; 04-06-2008 at 01:32 PM.

I'm currently transferring to FlyHigh they have been fantastic . I am very pleased with them so far . We had a rough road today ( my fault ) and they met it with grace under pressure.

Did you find a host in the end Hellas ? If not you have a good list and can just work your way through it till you find the host your want to try and then let us know how you get on.

well... i started to work on new job and i did not have time for new web pages i planned. however i plan that i will start with my projects in november and i will decide from this host list. i am watching from time to time live support of this hosts and uptime, i can say that i am sattisfied with all. also i wil have bigger budget. up to 25 dolars per month. someone is out of that prize but i cant remember who. it will be hard to chose from them. will write here my experience after i choose someone.

The only thing I can recommend you here: do not choose web host by name choose that by your requirements and make sure that your web sites feel comfortable on the particular web host. Good luck.

thanks for advice.

Their reseller plans are reasonable enough. If you check out offer forum, you'll see a lot more crazy offers.

From what i've seen from around the forums Innohosting seems like the way to go - i personally have never used them, but there are quite a few good reviews on them here on the forums. If you do a quick search on the forums, or even possibly google, i'm sure you will find what your looking for Thanks

Helas - go with Innohosting, you won't be disappointed. I've used various Shared/Reseller/VPS/Dedicated accounts for over 10 years now and have been with a handful of the top recommended firms on this site. Thus far Innohosting has impressed me the most out of all firms that I've ever used. All firms will have their quirks every now and then - but these guys make sure that they always deliver on their promises, and the turnaround times on their support are by far the best (and most consistent) that I've ever seen.

In that time when I wrote this thread, I decided to stay with my curent reseller monoblue.org, since I actualy had nothing negative to say. But I bought shared hosting package with flyhigh and I must say everything worked fine. The FlyHigh sold us to some Open Source Hosting Solution opensourcehostingsolutions.com. New host also performed well. After moving accounts for next few months I did not noticed any problems with my 3 sites. Today since my number of sites is growing, I decided to try catsnine incredibly cheap reseller packages. Setup went fine. I am waiting that they transfer some of my sites to their servers and will see how it goes. Best thing is that they offer European servers based in Blue Sqare. Thanks all for suggestion. p.s. I will in the future definatly try Innhosting.

As of today I am moving from catsnine. Everything worked nicely for 6 months so I get another 6 month deal and then server Eli went mad. I gave them 30 days to fix it, submitted at least 30 tickets and they did not manage to fix the problems. Now new problems are still emerging.... I don't have a will to explain all problems there were many. They were very helpful and responding on tickets fast no matter what time or day is it. But I got feel that they don't know how to fix particular errors. And since I lost trust I moved further... I wanted to take Innohosting, but their smallest package cant support number of domains I need and they offer way to much space and traffic I for my needs. My next destination is Empire Hosting reseller. If someone is interested I can explain my problems with the Cats Nine...

I'm interested but please create a new thread just for that review

Nah I don't think its fair from me to talk bad against them, they were very polite and helpful especially some guy Matt and hmm Anton... I would rather forget the issues and move on with my life. Losing their clients will probably make them improve their services. And for their costs what could I more expect.

How did you get in touch with Matt?

Posted by HostXNow_Chris, 01-21-2010, 03:01 PM
Try increasing your budget as it will get you better server uptime/server performance, etc.

Posted by webservices4india, 01-21-2010, 03:45 PM
you can use reseller hosting in your budget..........try reseller hosting offers

Posted by Hellas, 01-21-2010, 03:46 PM
Well, through support tickets obviously. That has nothing with budget. If someone promise something for dollar then he needs to provide promised.

Posted by webservices4india, 01-21-2010, 03:48 PM
yes definitely..............if some one promise then it whoul be provided...........i am agree with you
