New host reseller advice

| Hi every body,
I am new to web hosting reseller and already searched for tens' of companies and really confused of which one to choose I know that host gator is one of the best but I don't want to cross over $15/month I found 247-host.com and interested on its power plan any body have an experience with them?. I would be so appreciated to hear from experts in this forum.
I need the best offer ( disk space,banwidth,free billing system,free site builder,no hidden fees) not over 15$/month.

| IF you are looking for a free billing system the only company that comes to mind is Innohosting with your budget. Good luck with your search.

| I think Innohosting is more expensive than others the least plan is 5G disk/100G band for $16.95/month whereas 247-host power plan 15G/ 200G $14.99/month.

| 247-host.com advertise "unlimited space & bandwidth". But we all know there is no such thing. So it isn't necessarily fair to compare the two. Our costs are simply realistic rather than expensive.

| My suggestion is to raise your budget or reduce your disk/bw goals if you want reliable/quality reseller hosting.

| I agree with upping your budget or lowering your expectations. Most billing software packages cost at least $10/mo themselves (clientexec) and closer to $15/mo for whmcs. If you go for an h-sphere reseller, they have billing built in, but otherwise, you're going to have to give up your specs or give up your free billing software for that budget.

| InnoHosting is great however from what i have read over the last few weeks about their uptime and support it is a little rubbish.
If anything i would go with MDDHosting.com beacuse they are the best at what they do for your type of budget. Plus you get a FREE WHMCS license on all of their reseller plans. From my past experience with them i have only ever had my WHMCS integrations done by Mike who works there and he has never let me down and is always online helping folks.

| Where did you read over the last few weeks that our uptime is "rubbish"? From what I have read over the past few weeks, I've seen nothing of the sort..And looking at our uptime monitors, I also see nothing of the sort.

| There is no such thing as a "free" billing system. Billing systems cost money for the host to provide, so any host advertising a "free" billing system has just placed the license cost on top of the hosting price. This is why you need to raise your budget to get such a thing.

| Ok I have just removed the billing option and like to test a low cost reseller prog. without billing in the mean time anyone knows about 2gbhosting.com or have an experience with them.

| I would check the hosting offers forum. Or if you have less than 10 clients you can use whm.Autopilot for free. I've never used them, but you could search for them here.

| Dig for a coupon if you want to catch a good service at a bargain price. Otherwise you will get a cheap service, not cheap price, but cheap service.
If you don't get a coupon, then prepare to pay a bit more.

| I would have to agree with most on this thread. I used Inno in the past and their service was excellent and uptime was darned good. Nothing bad to say about Inno.

| I am just wondering why I should choose innohosting while they are giving costs more expensive than Hostgator the most trusted co. with all my respects to innohosting. actually I am in need to hear about good trusted offers not only promotions of innohosting.

| I would say that I would trust Innohosting over Hostgator. Hostgator is a behemoth and oversells quite heavily. Although they are probably one of the best of the oversellers, there have been some issues reported with them (do some searching). Innohosting is a smaller company with personal support and reliable servers. You can't go wrong with them and maybe you pay a little more, but that's the piece-of-mind that they offer with a solid product.

| It is arguable that Innohosting is in fact significantly cheaper than Hostgator once you factor in the overselling enabled feature and end user support. That's just how things are, no matter how much I like Hostgator for their service quality.
The cost of the license for a host with thousands of customers and hundreds (or thousands) of such licenses resold will be way, way lower than the retail price. It does add to the package prices, but you as a customer are still much better off going for billing software included in a package than buying it on your own.
The argument that $15 is a bit low does stand, but the alternative (going separate) will be way more expensive than just increasing the budget for reseller hosting with billing included.
Just my opinion.

| It is definitely difficult to choose when some one is new this business and I am so appreciated for all replays.It seems to me that one won't be able to know until try and sometimes it depends on luck at the beginning. My last concept is to try Jixhost and see wt will happen.

| An IP will be blocked for either of the following reasons:
1) Excessive connections from a single IP (typically 100+ continuous or very short period of time)
2) 5 invalid cPanel logins within a very short period of time (typically within a few minutes).
The first one doesn't happen often, the second one - if the password didn't work the first 3 or 4 times, it's unlikely to work the 5th time.
It's there to protect customers, and for the most part, works well. It is not uncommon to do this in the industry. We have 24x7 support via live chat and telephone, so in such incidents customers can call us up or hop onto live chat - we'll remove the IP straight away over chat/telephone.

| We have the same setup and it's usually because clients have their ftp programs to fetch via multiple connections. They just email us or start a live chat and we remove their IP.
I agree with Rameen. It's there to protect the clients overall and it doesn't take much to get unblocked.

| We have the same setup as well. Clients will contact us that they cant access find out its their IP unblock it straight away.
$15 reseller with a control panel will be tough to find :/ especially if you want quality service.
