A few questions about reseller hosting!

Hi
I would like to know if there are reseller accounts that give you an API to create new accounts using your own billing software etc.
Do all reseller accounts come with the billing software?
I am looking to do a little web hosting on the side of my current business as a facility rather than a profit making exercise so I just need to handle a small number of clients with all the features they would expect.

Not all reseller accounts come with Billing Software. In fact, by default, none that I know of do. There are however some providers that include billing software such as ClientExec or WHMCS. Some include it for free, others may charge a small fee.
Control Panels that have reseller capabilities (such as cPanel/WHM) do have an API. WHMCS and ClientExec are already programmed to communicate with that API.
Hope this helps. If you have more questions just ask.

Most hosts will work with you to find a billing software that fits your needs. If they don't then they are not worth being with.

PayPal is a payment processor, not a billing software
