Iptables: Limit Packets Per Second For specific IP

Posted by CymraegWalesHosting, 12-22-2012, 07:32 PM Hi All, I am looking at limiting the number of packets per second so it will only allow 'x' amounts of packets per second to a specific IP using UDP. I'm sure this can easily be done and i'm wondering how to do it via IPtables. I'm guessing it would something a bit like this: But obviously needs to be UDP and contain an IP so only that rule will apply for that specific IP. Thanks in advance.
