Regedit Changes not saving

| Hello,
I have a dedi server with Windows Server 2008 RD Standard. I added some keys to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\
After I restart the server all those key changes disappeared.
How to prevent this? How to make the changes permanent?

| Right click on the profilelist folder in regedit and select permissions. Make sure you have ownership and full control of it.

| Check the ownership tab. Also I think I read somewhere that the key/keys can't be longer than 100 character spaces. I have not seen this issue in 2008 before.

| I can see the Administrator and Administrators group in there
