Name Servers - A few Queries...

Hi, I've used BIND on internal LANs for years but this whole public name serving / domain registering / WHMCS combo has me running round in circles. Basically I'd like to setup a couple of remotely located VPS in different geographic regions for our ns1 and ns2 [running BIND]. I'm sure I've missed a piece of the jigsaw somewhere... Thanks in advance, Steve

A1: You would only save money if Enom charges for DNS management options. You would still need to provide some sort of control panel for them to manage their DNS. A2: You would need to use a module that can use the API for whatever DNS control panel you set up in WHMCS. At the end of the day, it sounds to me like you'd be needing some custom software.

Q 1: Yes, the new domain names you register with eNOm will use DNS zone files of your server. Q 2: I do not think that eNOM charges for DNS management. But, if you want your customers to manage their custom DNS records in ENOM then you need to provide their login details of Domain name control panel.
