Windows server 2008 rc2 help.

| Hello,
1)Currently starting an online course about Windows 2008 RC server, the problem is that I cannot find a way to get a copy of the software for free because I am not a student taking courses, but will only take the exam, is there a way around that please?
2)As I understand it, Hyper V let the server be the main computer in the network and all the other client computers will have a GUI coming from this server, is it complicated to install that on different client machines or everything is done via the server itself?

If you don't mind me asking, which online course are you taking? I have a few friends that are interested in learning Windows 2008 R2 themselves. With that said, it's very easy to obtain an evaluation license from Microsoft for 2008 R2, in fact even the new Windows Server 8 !
For Hyper V, it's just a VM system like VMware's ESXi, as well as Xen Server. I believe the GUI you're talking about is Microsoft's new RemoteFX. I may be wrong in this department though.

| Windows 2008 comes with a 180 day trial, just use that?

I found a website with free videos if you are interested, I will send it to you by pm because I don't think i can post it here.
SolaDrive, yes this is what I did, I am downloading the 180 days trial at the moment. thank you.

| Tricky I'm sure Microsoft would do something to help you out here. What contry are you in? I know they have this apprenticeship scheme promotion thing.
