anacron and crontab

Hi Guys If I disable anacron will crontab still work correctly? I also I have some scheduled commands in crontab Thanks

Yes if you have cron installed. anacron is more ideal for desktops while cron is more built for servers. Both are typically installed by default. Last edited by TravisT-[SSS]; 05-13-2012 at 07:27 AM.
