Quick Question about Host Gator

| I'm not bashing them or anything, I just had a question. I am a customer of theirs and have been for the past 12 hours.
They offer a free license to WHM Autopilot. I requested it. I recieved it within the hour (thanks!).
Now, I haven't used Zend optimizer or Ioncube that much and have absolutely no clue about them. It does seem however that WHAP runs on zend, and I need to make a few changes to the php.ini file.
Now, I have sent in a support ticket asking for SSH access to do this. No response yet, but I did see in the knowledge base at hostgator that you need to send in your driver's license and whatnot in order to request SSH access.
So as for my questions;
1.) Do I NEED SSH access to install WHMAP?
2.) If so, is hostgator pretty much forcing me to have them install it or $25.99?

| If you are on a shared server then Zend should already be installed

| Then either the package I recieved from hostgator is corrupt or I'm too stupid. I can't get this too install.
I'll fumble with it for a bit and maybe just pay them to do it for me.

Hostgator is great BTW. I've recieved replies within minutes on all tickets.

| When you visit the install does it give errors or what exactly? I'm wondering if you uploaded the php files as ASCII which won't work when the files are zend encoded.

| Haha, sorry for the no update. I got it though.
TonyB, that was the problem. I was uploading it all in ASCII, well it was set to 'Auto'. I changed this to Binary after CAREFULLY reading the instruction at the WHMAP website.
Too bad the instructions that hostgator gave me didn't mention this.
