Rack solution (UPS), all advice appreciated.

So I am a UK based software developer and I have formed a creative software solution for a niche market in the UK. Whilst the software side of things is more or less complete I am struggling with the hardware element. The Scene So imagine a marquee or large tent in the middle of a field. This tent is essentially a command center/control room. The power which feeds this tent is provided by commercial generators. Within this tent between 10 - 30 people work on workstations. Internet connections are available but they are often slow and unreliable. The software The software is based on web technologies and provide metric information on all incidents logged within it. The application has a medium concurrency at peak times with around 3 entries added per minute per user plus multiple reads at peak times. The LAN is reliable and a future plan is on the drawing board to allow access to users outside the tent but still within the same geographical location. The web interface allows user scalability without wasted time in setup. The software is located on a local web server to resolve the poor Internet connection. The hardware The rack consists of: 1 x 3.4W Router 2 x ??W 24 port switches 2 x 400w servers (mirrored - for maximum/reliable uptime) The workstations consist of laptops which can operate independently to the rack. The problem The rack must be portable?Power outages are common. Issues may take up to an hour to resolve. What sort of UPS would be reccomended to ensure the rack stays online and that the system is still portable? I have looked at 900W UPS but most state a low uptime (< 10m) when at full load. Any ideas on how I can ensure an uptime of 45-60mins in case of power failure at fairly low cost.

you can do with a 1 KVA online UPS but I'd recommend a 2 KVA online UPS with a battery bank of 26 AH SMF batteries.

My previous company sold 1-2kVA UPS within a 2U size and the BBU was about 4U using banks of 9Ah batteries. You can also string BBUs (within reason) to get enough backup time to cover your needs. You'll want to use a "dual conversion" UPS (same type as noted by rajj above) and not a line interactive type.
