Problem with my reseller account - URGENT

Posted by Tinkleondabeach, 03-30-2007, 02:00 AM
Hello, I am one of those people that went with a cheap host. I started a reseller from an eBay deal for 10pounds a year, which offers unlimited storage and bandwidth. There were exceptions though, download libraries, cpu, multimedia files, etc. I have been with the host for around 3 months now, running checks of my client accounts here and then. I have received around 70 clients, and 10 of them being suspended. The accounts were suspended from root, so I don't want to mess with them, so I refund my clients for breaking the TOS, and so on. Right now, I have made quite an amount of money and can afford a dedicated server. Though, the week I think about getting one, the week my reseller gets suspended. I was suspended without a notice, so I tell my host that if they can unsuspend it, I will move my clients out of their box. I have not received a reply for days, even though I know it is read. I opened 2 tickets, they closed one of them without reply, and the other ticket, they lowered priority to high, and left it sitting there for 2 days. All I want is security for my client's files, I hope they understand that. I need a way to get the accounts transfered, while being suspended. I am pretty sure that is NOT possible, but I just need help. What I can do, (ask, contact, legal options, paypal claims), I really do not want to resort to anything against the company. They have been good to me for what I paid. But are they liable for anything? Can they help me? It feels as if they ignored my ticket, I was trying to communicate with them for days. If anybody could help, it would be greatly appreciated. The host that sold my reseller is: Computhings.co.uk, which is hosted on server: server.simounts2.co.uk I tried a WHOIS, didn't get an email nor phone number, but the only way I am in contact is via ticket. They had a news update a day after my account was suspended: http://www.computhings.co.uk/support...wnews&newsid=3 It said the company was sold or something, though nothing should happen to accounts. I feel that I am the only client suspended, because I know they host 800+ sites on their server, but I'm the first to ask about this. If anyone knows a rep, or ANYONE of computhings.co.uk, please contact them or me, and help me unsuspend my account. I have been waiting 72 hours so far, and I do not want my customers to lose faith in me. I hope you understand my situation here. Again, the host I am trying to communicate with is computhings.co.uk

Sorry never heard of that company. You get what you pay for how could you expect them to host you for that much>?Not always the case you can pay a lot for sucky hosting but when people complain about features you getting and amount paid. With 70 customers are you looking at getting dedicated server or reseller account. Im reseller now would suggest my host but you going pay more then you were paying they have $15 month plan. How much profit you making? How much space bandwidth do you need? I'm about get dedicated server myself and don't go with cheapest on that.

this is why we try to stress the fact that you get what you pay for. But I'm sure you've realized that. You're at their mercy, you need to try to get their attention. Make sure in the subject line of your tickets you put "I need to move my clients - Please unsuspend" or something of that nature. Just realize that you're almost powerless unless you want to take legal action, but I personally don't think it's worth it. I'll try contacting them though, maybe they'll read an email from other people. Edit: Okay, DGS holdings comes up with nothing on google... might be an excuse for them running out of money or something.

Hi We have responded to you via email many times regarding this with no response from yourself. I suggest you check you customer support email and read what has been put there. We are not willing to discuss the details of this here but please feel free to send an email as this is not as straight forward an issue as you seem it to be.

Hello, I am glad to hear from you, I have not received any emails regarding this matter, however I contacted you via a contact form, and got an auto-reply stating that I should visit your support centre, which I have already opened a ticket there. If you would please email me again, and reply to the support ticket, that would be very helpful. Thank you.

Alright, I just realized that the reason all my accounts are suspended was because my billing script suspended the accounts. It even suspended my reseller, I finally got in contact with Computhings and they walked me through it and unsuspended my reseller, then I login to WHM to see that I have all my other clients suspended from my account. Sorry to put you into this Computhings. ISSUE RESOLVED. THANK YOU COMPUTHINGS FOR THE SUPPORT. MOD PLEASE CLOSE
