SpamAssassin & Comcast Mail

Does SA ignore some rules by default if the sender is a common domain (e.g., @comcast.net)? Do I need to tune up my config? One of my clients who's having her Comcast mail forwarded to a cPanel IMAP account, is receiving spam getting past Exim even while having about 10 custom RBLs in place. I've only had one junk mail issue, and it was with a fresh cPanel install on a server/ip that was new to me, without proper tweaking to Exim...sooo, what's next?
