Looking for a budget plan

Posted by firstheatweave, 12-23-2006, 11:30 PM
Hello, Looking for a new host.. uptimes getting unbearable with my current host I was thinking about getting the resellerzoom.com's $4.95 budget plan but decided that maybe I could get what I needed with a shared plan? Requirements: 99.9% Uptime + Fast server Good tech support Plenty of mysql databases Plenty of addon domains + subdomains 2 gb diskspace minimum (my current reseller has 4gb) 30 gb bandwidth minimum (my current reseller has 100gb) Hosting about 10-20 seperate domains cPanel Good security Weekly backups (daily would be best) Free setup Any suggestions? My budget's $10, looking to spend less than that for a shared plan if a shared plan will fulfill my requirements Thanks!

Based on personal experience I would recommend BudgetReseller.com which hosts my domain ATOTChat.com They had a WHT offer 2 months ago, maybe they'll still honor it?

Thanks for the response, I'll ask if the offers still availble I also saw the Gigalots offer in the "Shared and Reseller Hosting Offers" forum Seems like a fairly decent package. Anyone know if they're any good? Happy Holidays!

I will second that. Pretty stable and decent host. Very happy with their support and services.

I have an account with GigaLots; the server seems very fast and stable but they have never properly setup WHM to allow me to resell. Not much use if you do want to resell; fortunately I was just looking for the dedicated IP and don't resell off that account.

Take a look around some good web hosting directories and you should be able to compare some plans side by side for your ease but your requirements don't sound bad at all. Good luck.

Mind sharing your experiences with your current host?
