Do you make your client change their passwords?

Posted by SSD-Greg, 04-12-2012, 08:03 PM
What's the average period of time you give your clients then sends them that email taking them they need to change their passwords? For security reasons lately I've been thinking about making all my clients change their passwords on our billing and for their control panels. After I do this what kind of time frame should I give them then have them change them again. Is this needed and should I demand this. Thanks for everything heave a great night.

You can send out notice email about password protection but it's not recommended to force them to change.

We make it a recommendation only (listed in our Knowledgebase) to update the password at least every 6 months We don't force password change, unless there has been unusual activity on their account
