Any HostTitan customer here?

Posted by 01globalnet, 10-18-2006, 08:48 PM
Has anyone used HostTitan.com for reselling? They claim to provide failover Cpanel hosting, that's amazing to almost provide 100% uptime to your clients! Any experience, comment, information - bad or good? Thanks!

I'm very happy with my reseller account at HostTitan. They have excellent customer service and I haven't noticed any downtime.

Posted by CyberHostPro, 10-22-2006, 04:13 PM
they seem ok but look at the order form its an additional $15.99 to use CPanel on top of the price shown on the site.

Posted by HostTitan, 10-22-2006, 05:12 PM
That's for vps customers only, as they have a choice of a variety of control panels. Shared/reseller hosting can use cpanel or directadmin free-of-charge.

Posted by FlaNative, 10-22-2006, 05:28 PM
That only applies to VPS. Reseller rates are here http://www.hosttitan.com/features.html Some other thing that I like about HostTitan: -- servers are not oversold -- phone number for customer service (never used it) -- large reseller accounts available

What's your domain with HostTitan?

I will be happy to furnish that information to the moderator.

Have you tried searching WHT http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php you may find some posts or reviews regarding their service. Also check out some review sites like WHReviews.com, they might have some reviews for HostTitan. Have you sent their sales staff any pre-sales questions?

http://www.webhostingtalk.com/helpdesk/ it the best way to do that

yes, I am looking for reviews of hosttitan.com too. It seems they are in hosting business for maybe 6 months?

Posted by HostTitan, 10-29-2006, 03:17 PM
To correct the above statement -- we've been in business much longer than 6 months. The hosttitan label started somewhere around 2004 (I don't have the exact date off-hand), but before that hosting was provided to local firms in the New Jersey/New York area. Proof can be furnished upon request to prospective customers.

Is this maybe your first reseller account? If you managed to login to whm you have everything you need. With a reseller account you set up your domains, mail, ftp and all that other stuff. If you have custom nameservers you may need the IP to register them with your domain registar. Is there anything some of us could help you with?

You were informed that your payment would take longer; particular countries require a more exhaustive fraud-check. Your account was created within 15 hours (during the weekend). PRIOR to payment, you were told it would probably take 24 hours to setup due to the fraud-checks we were going to undertake. So I'm not sure why you would expect it to have been done instantly. In addition, a full welcome email was sent, with ftp, dns, and all other info needed to get started. The welcome email is pretty straight-forward, but we were (and still are) happy to walk you through any areas where you may have difficulty. I understand that you are a beginner at this, and we have the support facilities necessary to accomodate your skill level. Finally, the support ticket system is integrated with the modernbill password you received. The ticket system is only one of several methods that you can utilize to get support. If you're having trouble utilizing it, you can always avoid the ticket system and email support directly, or call our phone number.

In this full welcome email with ftp, dns, and all other info needed to get started ..., where´s the link for support area of Modernbill (Web Host Billing script) ? +===================================+ | New Account Info | +===================================+ | Domain: my domain | Ip: the ip (y) | HasCgi: y | UserName: | PassWord: | CpanelMod: x | HomeRoot: /home | Quota: 5000 Meg | NameServer: ns2.my domain.cmo | Contact Email: my mail In your page in support or contact area my billing login and password dont´work. Sounds like the host met all of the promises they made, where's the problem?

Posted by Martha Parra, 02-06-2007, 09:45 AM
the advertising on hosttitan site is not completely true, for this reason, a refund for this order is being requested. The main reason for that (within all)is for your support it takes several hours and now there no answer to my mail sent at Feb 2..

Posted by HostTitan, 02-06-2007, 09:22 PM
There was an answer to the email sent on that date. If you didn't receive it, then you should email us once again. We do not use webhostingtalk to provide support, nor do we visit this site very often -- so please ask for support via our normal channels. I just went through the archive and can confirm an immediate response (approximately 20 minutes after it was received). It may be that you have an aggressive spam filter.

It´s new, now my mail block your messages, coincidence when I wait for answer for cancellation another my billing or whm login and password don´t work in your ticket system or there are other link for support, i can´t see the link in your full welcome email with ftp, dns, and all other info needed to get started ... +===================================+ | New Account Info | +===================================+ | Domain: my domain | Ip: the ip (y) | HasCgi: y | UserName: | PassWord: | CpanelMod: x | HomeRoot: /home | Quota: 5000 Meg | NameServer: ns2.my domain.cmo | Contact Email: my mail only cancel my account and return the money it´s easy with 2checkout only with one click Last edited by Martha Parra; 02-07-2007 at 02:29 AM.

hosttitan at the end did not respond my messages, but the credit card compàny return the money to me, hosttitan did not respond to them. You can do it if you see that the advertising on hosting site is not completely true and they don´t respond your messages write to 2checkout (credit card company used for hosttitan in this case), 2checkout does not allow it. The new of bad hosting service: "if you don´t receive the answer is may be that you have an aggressive spam filter".

Posted by HostTitan, 02-09-2007, 04:49 PM
In regards to the dispute, we responded to 2checkout's customer support on February 6th. Its clear that there are "communication issues" with you. I have no desire to continue this conversation with you, as it seems that you manage to twist every statement we write or respond with blatant lies in an attempt to make us look bad. In addition, I have email records (which I will post screenshots on) that show outgoing emails to your server. We don't just ignore requests like that.

Hey rohitj, Just let it go. One poster is not going to make or break you. She is the one who looks stupid to me.
