Hosting a production site on IIS express?

| Just a crazy idea of mine
Has anyone tried hosting a production site on IIS express?
I'm currently stuck on a windows 03 box, and I'm looking at using IIS express to update the IIS without upgrading windows.
Has anyone tried it? Is it a good idea? How does the express edition's performance compare with normal IIS?

Its basically designed for developers and works well for asp.net and php

| It gets a few hundred hits per hour usually, with peaks up to a few thousand hits per hour.
My VPS is a windows 03 box with only 512 mb ram.
