CSF blocking FTP?

| Only just noticed that CSF is blocking my FTP i use (FileZilla) And also a new program im looking to use (SyncBack). I can only login through FTP if CSF is disabled.
Can anyone give some advice?

| Kindly check into vi /etc/csf/csf.allow FTP port is open or not.

| Are you on an OpenVZ VPS?
If so, look at http://www.configserver.com/free/csf/readme.txt

| configserver's ini file should have something like:
# Outgoing TCP ports
TCP_OUT = 20,21,22,etc....
Make sure 22 is there, assuming you have not moved FTP to another port

| It's doing the same to our servers. They aren't Open VZ. They are Dedicated Servers.

| Its a possibility that CSF is blocking Passive FTP.
Try setting the PassivePortRange as described in my post above and then try.
Remember when adding the port range 30000:35000 to your FTP server, do also add that range to CSF, and restart CSF.

| If setting up the passive FTP range doesn't work, I'd check the LFD log to see what's happening and see if you can then find the problem that way.
