www and non-www

Hello, I would like to have two different hosting accounts for www and non-www sites on the same server
I am using cpanel, is that possible?
A second option would be create a second account for a different subdomain and rewrite the url to show
domain.com/$ instead of subdomain.domain.com/$
but still get other subdomains working as
subdomain2.domain.com
but I can´t figure out the required rewrite rule
Any suggestions?

Creating a www.yourdomain and a yourdomain in cpanel might work. I've never attempted this. The other option you may consider which I've saw being used before would be to just place your website files for the www in the www directory of the account whereas in the Public html have the others.
Let me know if that works!
Thanks!
