They will probably have an Acceptable Usage Policy which they will use against you if you appear to be hogging too much bandwidth/storage/resource etc....
Personally, I have never been a fond supporter of these hosts as it does no do what it says on the tin !

Run as far as you can from that deal. As you grow with experience in this field you will find that companies that tend to offer this kind of deal are companies that are just starting out or are NOT established.
Beware of these companies. Regards!

If you are looking for a reliable reseller hosting and want to get a good service when stay away from these companies.

I offer unlimited bandwidth on most of my packages. But I cap the storage capacity on all of what I offer. I offer the unlimited bandwidth because I don't pay for bandwidth, just the server and space in the DC. Does that mean that most people should stay away from my hosting?

Well someone is paying for the bandwidth somewhere, its not free and certainly is not unlimited to YOU the upstream customer. So to answer your question absolutely!

I am same opinion with HostFrog. Also the speed of the these companies servers is generally slow. They have many limitation for using of their servers, too. So I never work with these companies.

You know, I honestly didn't know people felt that way. Maybe I'll reevaluate things.

There is no such thing as unlimitted anything. Bandwidth can be set with a ceiling of 10mbs or more instead of set amount of usage. But you are still limited to the maximum available at full speed. unlimitted hard disk is even worse. avoid this deal.

What does unmetered space mean anyway? I haven't seen an unmetered HDD before...
Would be cool to have one once it's invented though..hehe

I remember there was a thread about overselling here. There is no such unlimited or unmetered space / bandwidth.

Unmetered means there is still a limit, but you can use anything up to that limit as fast and as often as you want.

It just isn't economically feasable for them to maintain a service like that over the long term.

Avoid.
Read http://ultracheaphosts.com/
If you would read their TOS, you would find that un-metered space is most likely limited to how you may use the space. File size limits, etc.

Staying in the business long enough will teach you to look out for "deals" like this and why its important you do not offer deals like this. However, some may say this is a touchy subject. Unlimited in regards to diskspace is totally fictional.

Avoid using unlimited/unmetered space, there is no such a thing "unlimited hard drive". You risk an account termination for "overusage" or similar reason. I recommend you to choose a host which clearly states what you get for your money.
