Looking For Very Reliable Reseller Hosting In Canada
Posted by Antec, 11-20-2006, 08:42 AM |
Hey im new here
I have been searching high and low for a GOOD reseller. Theres to many for me to pick from. I have never owned a webhosting site before. It would be great if your guys and gals could give me a hand.
What Im looking for is to have my own webhosting site, that I can sell hosting.
Thing is that Im gonna build 2 of my large community websites on it, So im looking for alot of power. I also plan on hosting a large # of sites in the future 500+.
I dont want my sites to be laggy and down during peek times.
Should i go with a vps? what should I get?
I dont know how to set up my webhosting site at all, So I want a company t0 handle all technical work and upgradeds also I dont kno how to tranfer a site safely if the host desides to move my server. So I need 100% tech support.
All i want to do on my side is. Create a new hosting account for a site im gonna make or for a customer and collect the money.
I dont want to deal with people emailing me saying there hosting is down
Soooo it would be great if all you hosting master could lead me in the right direction to setting up a proper webhosting site..
Thanks

I believe cartikahosting.com is a Canadian host but I don't think they have any VPS solutions. Only shared and dedicated.

there uptime is kinda nice.
do u think i would be able to host 2 large community sites and about 500+ other sites without it laggin out with the CartikaHosting Turnkey Dual Platform HSphere Reseller Hosting Solution Plan
Is that even good?
I also need to host steaming video and mp3s

try shooting an email to Andrew at cartika hosting. He should be able to help you. As for hosting 500 sites, it would seem that you need a dedicated server.
Some other good Canadian Hosting options:
monsterhosting.ca
digitallyjustified.com
And, you might wanna check Lubby's budgetreseller.com.
Now, I have no experience with either of these. Just trying to save your time.

You will definitely need a dedicated server to host 500+ sites.
2 large community sites would use lots of resources and not suitable for shared/reseller hosting.

Even a VPS probably won't do for your needs, especially when you're hosting over 500+ sites. Go for a dedicated server, that way you have all the resources to yourself
I don't know about you but I don't like to share especially if I have over 500 sites!

The OP has said that he/she is planning on having 500+ sites in the future and looking at building 2 large communities. So for now (before he has 500+ sites and 2 large communities), he could settle in a large shared account or a vps and move when/if his plans become a reality.

Excellent choice
I have a reseller account with budgetreseller, and I am really very satisfied with the support and services provided by them.
Greg is really an amazing guy. He cares for his customers

well im just gonna start off small then move my way up to a dedicated server, when i need it. that way im not paying for a bunch space and resources that im not not even using.
