How many Ips in private name server?

How many Ip's one can get in private name servers? I'm confused..... ns1 = 1st ip ns2 = 2nd ip or ns1=ns2=1st ip??

Typically, each nameserver would have its own IP

Each private nameserver requires 1 ip. So your ns1 nameserver needs 1 ip and so is your ns2 nameserver.

you can use 1 ip for both nameservers. However, it's not good. And even using different ips on the same server is giving the same status. The best is setting up nameservers different ips for nameservers on different servers

In many cases, the host will offer two shared IPs for the nameservers which you can use if you do not want to have to order two dedicated IPs for nameservers.
