need a little help with htaccess redirect code

Posted by ransome, 08-21-2011, 07:06 AM friends, I have moved my folder from root folder to "system" folder. But all my search engine links are going to the root only to end up with 404 error pages. can some one help me so that who ever visits root folder end up viewing the link in system folder ? I had an htaccess file doing the same earlier on the older host, while migrating I forgot to move the htaccess file and now I am ending up losing lots of traffic
