Have you set a budget yet? Shell access might be the hardest thing to find, but if you do find a provider you like, but they don't say anything about shell access, just ask them; in some cases, they'll give you access. A reasonable budget for this I would say would be around $20 on up per month.

Are you sure that you need shell access? Most hosts will not give this out to you and if they do there is something wrong. If you need shell access you should look at a VPS.

Actually, I don't know and don't understand to VPS. Is there have any reference I can go through about differences between reseller and VPS? My budget is around $20 per month.

It is not uncommon for hosts to offer shell access. I don't particularly think a VPS is needed here... However, no host will give you full shell access but JailShell to limit the execution of particular commands.. You shouldn't have much of a problem finding a host. Hosts won't really advertise Shell access to prevent attracting the wrong customers, but simply ask them along with other sales questions to find out and also to get a taste of the company... Good Luck...

You may want to check out hostgator.com or host-frog.com both have pretty good reseller packages. Although I'm not sure about the ssh access.

You have a reasonable budget in mind. One thing that people usually forget to ask here is...where are you from, and where would most of your visitors/clients come from? Server placement affects load times...

You will not have a problem finding a host with your budget. Most hosts do offer jailed SSH access, if you have good reason. Check out the offers section, google, and others. VPS or dedicated services are not necessary.

Hi Kenny, I recently took a Reseller hosting at Site5 and am pleased so far. (I also have a "normal" shared hosting a couple of months ago of which I'm very satisfied). They offer al the things you need.
