Server Division is Not Answering Trouble Tickets

I found them off of here. They were apparently bought by someone (Ambient solutions?), their forums are all abuzz with it, so looks like I'm not the only one.
since I apparently can't post links: forums dot serverdivision dot com
the suggestions and feedback forum
I need Shared SSL to work, the domain gives me a 404, I wonder if they let it die when the merger happened.

Its time to move, if they quit supporting their clients.

With a switch like that how the new management takes over is a foreshadow of how they will do things in the future. I would suggest trying your best efforts to contact them and like sjr said just move on.

I've moved from Unified net when they were down for 11 days without explanation, and from Coaxservices when they kept going down and our email was blacklisted from AOL and other servers, and this place was highly reccommended here, where should I move now? I don't want to have to move again in a few months, I have to move like 20 sites and 6 databases and a bunch of subdomains and tons of FTP and email accounts.

I was with ServerDivision for a number of months and it was an unbelievable experience. I'm convinced they are TRYING to kill the company. Anyway, I've moved to infuseweb. I have been thrilled with the service and support. Tony, the owner, is very responsive and knowlegable. It is about 4X the cost of ServerDivision, but well worth the expense.
Good luck.

A true example of you get what you pay for... Some people just need to learn the hard way with hosting

Maybe they just want to get the old customers off their servers and get new customers. Or maybe they already have started offering services with a new name somewhere else. These servers were working fine before AMBIENT Solutions bought the company. There is talk that the servers were in bad shape before the new guys took over, but that sound silly to me because how can a bad server behave well under one owner and not under another owner.
The bottom line is that they want to get rid of old customers and get new customers. Motto of SD: Hook or crook, get customers who want to pay more. This is what the admin had indicated on forum.serverdivision.com. I do not remember the exact URL or the thread, else would have posted that here. He made a statement saying that they were paid too less for offering support.

That might be true in many cases but after talking with the orig-owner of SD few months back about the sale, I was truly convinced he was doing a fantastic job with his crew, I believe the main problem was with the takeover and the new team probablynot having the same level of knowledge on the service SD was providing or at least not familiar with their setup of things.
I wish SD best luck in the future

rahouls - feel free to PM or email me.
I have been with HostingFest since November - its when they first launched. Uptime has been fantastic with one hicup. They did have a SQL Server issue and moved it to a new server. My sites went down a couple times but for very short times during this hicup. Since the fix its been flawless with no downtime.
any other questions, my email and PM box are always open.
