Anyone with Dathorn?
Posted by Chris Gwynne, 11-07-2005, 03:07 PM |
Hey guys
Just wondered if anybody is with Dathorn. I just signed up yesterday, and granted it was a weekend (not office hours), but today is. Been trying to contact them (Andrew) to try and set up my account but without luck.
I've emailed them, with no answer. I've signed up on their support forums (however I haven't received by activation key so I can't post), but I have sent a PM with no answer. I don't know how else to contact them.
With their site saying "near instant activation" I thought it'd be within 24 hours, not waiting around endlessly trying to think of ways to contact them.
Anybody know how I can get in touch?
Regards,
Chris

Did you hear from Andrew? He was last logged on his forums at 10:39AM today.

I've been with Dathorn for about a year. I have been very satisfied.

That should be automatic I think. Maybe it is a symptom that your email is not working?

near instant activation in my opinion should be within 5min-1hr from the time the order is placed

Hamtramck Rick - My email works perfectly fine. Receiving all emails.
@oldBear - It was a rhetorical question. I know people are with them but with the amount of emails I've been sending just to get in touch I'm beginning to think they don't exist.
@GroveStreetNetworks - That's what I was thinking. It's been well over 24 hours now, and it's only a reseller account, not a dedicated server.
3 emails, one PM. No replies.

I am not sure what is going on. I have ticket open with them for a while now. Usually they are pretty quick, but today nothing. Andrew has logged into his forums today more than once so I am not sure what might be going on.

Your order was processed very soon after it was placed. I just checked the mail queue on the server and there is mail stuck in the queue addressed to you that cannot be delivered due to your mail server continuing to time out for whatever reason.
I got the e-mail notification regarding your PM on our forums but I completely forgot about it, and I apologize for this. If you wish we can continue to resolve this through there.

Chris, I've sent you the information that you should need via PM on our forums.
sfoma, I'm personally not aware of any tickets that went for a long period without response today. We're still maintaing an average of 19mins over the past 72 hours as well. Feel free to PM me on our forums if you wish to discuss it and have me take a look.
