SSH Keys for Multiple Uses - Basic Question

Hi, If one has already created a public key with SSH-keygen for a backup server, is the same public key going to be used for something like using Putty with keys, or are new public-private keys generated for each project (e.g. one set for backup server, one set for putty, etc.). Thanks.

Once you generate a SSH key then you can use this for multiple purpose.

Hi, What ever may be Ftp , Once you have generated key using SSh then it can be used for any kind of ftp
