High Server Load
Posted by SQNWK, 11-25-2010, 12:11 AM |
I have a server that has a high server load around the same time each day for the last two days, I thought it might of been a cron job but I couldn't find any current ones. Looking for suggestions.

If you can check the result of "top -c" during that time, you can find the script that takes load.

SQNWK, what is the setup of this server?
Linux? cPanel/WHM?
How many accounts?
Are backups configured?
there are many contributing factors that could be causing high server loads. if you could provide some more information that would help!

It's quite possible that the site(s) are just being hit often during that time period, and MySQL/Apache are eating up your resources.
