If E-Z-HOSTING FIX HIS ISSUE WITH MySQL go with them. Nothing else bad to say about the service.

Any host offering reseller packages with 35GB of space and 1000GB of bandwidth isn't going to be in business very long. Rethink your requirements.

They're overselling and like many other hosts, will not last very long with those kind of costs... Best of luck

As I said in my first post, they are overselling. And about wether they can hold on long enough in this industry... I think they can. I've visited this forum one and a half year ago and crossed over them. Today, they are still around

well, I would prefer to stay away from ezhosting. Oversells too much and thats really bad... this can cause too many problems.

I've been with E-Z-Hosting for about two months now. I've got the 10GB/60GB package which was recently replaced by a 10GB/100GB package at a slightly higher price. They've recently instituted a new "fail over" system (custom built for them) which will automatically back up [at least the index.htm] files to another server should their main server suffer outage. Your main page won't be down for more than five minutes in that event. They will back up your entire site for a SMALL fee [worth the investment]. About a month ago their server was taken offline because of some unscrupulous being setting up an account to defraud eBay members on their [E-Z-Hosting's] server so, everything was down for a few days (it's too bad some people can't read and adhere to TOA's/TOS's). Other than that, I've had no problems with my account or customer service.

99% of webhosts oversell...and i would like we be clear. Overselling is not bad thing if you have idea to upgrade your quota when you reach the max of your server. Where is the problem if my server is 1GB space and i offer plans of 1 GB and i have 10 customers each one use only 80 MB of his quota ?

Posted by blockcipher, 06-23-2004, 12:42 PM
Good luck with that. Make sure you backup your won stuff as well. Can't rely on them to do it. Not from what I've seen in this thread, and others.

Posted by kknt, 06-24-2004, 04:45 AM
