Help on OpenVZ Setup

Posted by simdm80, 03-05-2010, 12:29 AM
I previously setup x86 on my dedicated server, but now i want to reinstall to x86_64, but it always conflicts with x86. May i know how to uninstall open vz x86 freshly and install x86_64?

An x86_64 system is not just made up of a 64-bit kernel but also 64-bit compatible tools and libraries. It's best to wipe out the disk then install x86_64. Regards Joe / UNIXY

yes, the system is 64 bit too. I select the wrong one, 32 bit to install. so i need to wipe them off now.

Only the DC can reload it unless they provide a web based means of support or reloading. You might just have to pay the extra

The best way is to reload an os .. so you have to pay

should be default=2. 1 and 2 run perfectly, i want to run openvz, default=0, i havent try yet, because i have try twice which not working, and now i install SolusVM directly and SolusVM included it, so i not sure does it work or not. I am waiting for KVMIP. Anyone who use SolusVM default run perfectly?
