vps's missing from hypervm control panel
Posted by hostcadet, 12-28-2009, 06:44 PM |
Started with master 1 and master 2
Both working fine there were a couple xen vps on each server
Converted master 2 to slave.
Added it to Master 1 as a slave.
That worked.
Able to create new vps's on the slave server.
The two servers that were already on the slave server are working
and are there xm list shows them as there.
When I try to to do the import thing it works if you save from
master and then import from slave. But not vps's show up.
If you do that in the reverse there is an error.
Any idea how to get all to show up in the control panel?

So basically you had two masters, and now 1x is a master ans 1x is a slave?
Just use the Raw import tool
Go to Home > Admin > General Settings
set the raw import driver to "hypervm"
it should then work ok

There is a work around.
You can simple rename the VPS in the slave and create a new VPS from hypervm again.
Once done , destory the new VPS manually and rename the old VPS to the id of the newly created one. Adjust the configuration to suit the old VPS

I was able to get the raw import to work some minor issues with this is that the ips and stuff were gone from the panel but I was able to go into database and updtate this info.
