In all my dealings with Pixel Seven, Sean has always been polite and helpful. I would recommend sending him an email with any pre-sales questions you might have. Good luck!

Good luck" you will need because during the month of September they were more down than up. It started at August 31, the server of my reselleraccount was down all day long. An urgent helpdesk request (server down) only got a reply after 12 hours. The following days the server was regularly down or unreachable. When I said this to the helpdesk they said that they did not have had that many downtimes. On Thursday 11.09 the server was hacked by a Brazilian hacking group and the index pages of all sites were replaced with the mention "wOrKiNg tO mAkE y0uR SeKuRiTy!" . As a consequence the server was down for three days. Apparently there were no back-ups because we were kindly asked to replace the index pages of all sites. On my helpdesk requests I only got a partial answer after 12 hours. After that the server was down a couple of more times, of which two were for a whole day. You can guess, I only got a reply from the helpdesk after 10 hours. Because of this I lost the biggest part of my clients. I had got to know pixelseven via WHT, but I noticed in the mean time that the questions and answers, here on the forum, are sometimes from people with the same interests. I fear that some people without a great sense of responsibility are active in this bussines. They apparently do not seem to realise that the problem is not solved by saying "sorry" and that they can you, as reseller, cause enormous damage.

If you email them, you might want to tell them to update their news on the site.

if they havent answered you I dont think you need more opinions that should speak loud enough

Indeed that is the way I see it too. I mailed a while ago to Sean Higgins but I got no reply at all. I fear that pixelseven will soon be past time. It is a pitty that we do not hear anything any more from the people that used to recommended P7 so hard. Even from Sean himself who used to react on the contributions ...

Hi There, With the amount of email that comes through each day, both spam that slips through, and other mail, it takes me a while to respond to emails, especially when we are experiencing problems with the servers, and/or network. This is why all support requests must be dealed with through the support desk. If you have any unresolved issues, or questions please feel free to email me, but please give me some time to respond =)

Sean, what about the problems reported in this thread? Are they all solved? What has happened to P7? does lcd was right to tell us that you all got problems lately?

I noticed that. What I wanna know is what kind of server/network problems they are experiencing. Its very different to have some misconfigurations problems than have a full hack-in problem.

Even tough my account got suspended at P7 after 2 years tonight, i am still very happy with P7 services, i have used their service for the past 2 years, of curse we had some down time but it wasn't as noticeable as some indicate here. I allways feelt like hosting my site on my own server.
