Turning on safe_mode for specific site?

Posted by chasebug, 10-11-2009, 12:39 PM
I have safe_mode on globally but I am trying to disable it for a specific site but it's not working. Tried both of these and both say invalid command: php_admin_flag safe_mode Off php_admin_value safe_mode 0 If I put it inside I don't get the invalid command but safe_mode is still on for that domain.

Are you adding the lines to .htaccess file ? It will will not work and give error if suexec is enabled on the server. Try adding the below lines to virtualhost entry of the domain in http.conf

Strange ... It had always worked for me...... What control panel are you using? If you are using plesk you can directly enable/disable it from domain >> setup
