phpmyadmin problem

Hey, I got an problem with phpmyadmin. I installed it on the server and I'm getting this error:
PHP 5.2+ is required
I'm running php 5.2.9
[root@server ~]# php -v
PHP 5.2.9 (cli) (built: Jun 15 2009 03:56:32)

Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2009 Zend Technologies

I have no idea where is the problem

What is the output of:
/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/php -v

Hey, it doesn't exist since I'm not running cP on the server, there is no any control panel at all
I posted the output already,
