Posted by sPoT!, 01-13-2003, 01:38 AM I see websitesource.com is coming up quite abit for ads here at WHT. Anybody ever deal with them? Good? So So? Bad? I couldn't find much said about them here. I'm mostly interested in having access to Miva on the lower end accounts. (they must be practically giving Miva away) I already have a bulk reseller account with another host. Comments appreciated.
Posted by MCHost-Marc, 01-14-2003, 04:11 AM I know i'm a competitor to them, so i'll keep my comments limited, however 3 years ago i've had a personal domain hosted with them and cancelled after 3 months, not because of bad service, though. However until this date, i get a reminder that payment is due, every 7 days, even though i wrote them several times and they confirmed the account is cancelled
Posted by luxfx, 01-17-2003, 01:49 PM I had a personal account with them that I cancelled when I turned to another host that was more cost effective (I host several domains and found another place that let me host them all under one package). My experience with them was so-so. No real persistant problems, no real reasons for loving them. I found their support sometimes less-than-helpful, and had a couple of instances of downtime, but I didn't leave because of the service/support. Had my needs not changed, I would likely still be with them, just not in love with them. don't know if that helps or not!
